In 2013, Red Likes Green Productions was started by Tracey Carter after she finished an 11-year career at The Oprah Winfrey Show. Her speciality is telling stories with video and connecting people to a message, promotion or event.

With Tracey's past experience, she is accustomed to dealing with executives, celebrities, large-scale production crews and technical staff.

If you have a limited budget, she's also a one-person band who develops, writes, shoots, and edits entire projects herself.

Red Likes Green Productions can handle a wide variety of your needs including:

  • Commercials, Promotional Videos, Instructional Videos, Industrial Videos for small businesses and large corporations

  • Short Documentaries for non-profit organizations, legal mediation, and personal occasions (anniversaries, rehearsal dinners, retirement parties, birthdays, funerals)

  • Marketing, Social Media, Newsletters, Ads, Promotional Events

  • Production Management for Film & TV

  • Event Coordination for just about anything you can dream up

Even as a child, Tracey wanted to be a writer and was often coercing her little sister and friends into performing in her neighborhood productions. She studied Film & Video at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and several years later landed her dream job working for The Oprah Winfrey Show and Harpo Productions. For four seasons, Tracey was the Production Manager and then became an Associate Producer for the final four years of the show.

While at Harpo Productions, Tracey co-produced many spectacular experiences including the dance flash mob of 20,000 audience members on Michigan Avenue with the Black-Eyed Peas. And coordinated mega-events such as a surprise baby shower for 700 pregnant military personnel and spouses at Fort Campbell, Kentucky; press junkets in South Africa at the opening ceremonies of Oprah's girls' school; and Oprah's After Oscar shows at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood.

After living in NYC and Chicago, Tracey has returned home to Michigan to be close to family and friends. She and her dog love to be close to nature and enjoy long walks on the beach.
